Bacsil-CLB Tablet Substitute

Bacsil-CLB Tablet is a combination of three drugs, namely: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic acid, and Lactic acid bacillus. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, it kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of amoxycillin against the bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic which helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut which may have gotten upset due to the infection. Together, Bacsil-CLB Tablet helps in treating bacterial infections.

Do not stop taking Bacsil-CLB Tablet despite symptomatic relief. To treat your condition effectually continue taking Bacsil-CLB Tablet for as long as it has been prescribed for you. Talk to your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Bacsil-CLB Tablet.

Bacsil-CLB Tablet may cause thrush or candidiasis, which is a fungal infection occurring due to the overgrowth of yeast-like fungus in the mouth or throat. Regularly rinse your mouth with water to prevent the growth of fungus.

Bacsil-CLB Tablet is less likely to cause stomach upset or diarrhoea as it contains lactic acid bacillus, a probiotic which helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut which may have gotten upset due to infection.

Bacsil-CLB Tablet may be used to treat infectious diarrhoea. Infectious diarrhoea is the inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract (stomach and intestine), which mainly occurs due to contaminated food and water.
