Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the action of the gastric proton pump that is responsible for acid production in the stomach. Ondansetron is an anti-emetic drug. It works by blocking the action of serotonin (chemical messenger) that triggers nausea and vomiting.
