Dox-LB 100 Capsule contains Doxycycline and Lactic acid bacillus. Doxycycline prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are necessary for the survival of the bacteria, thereby kills the bacteria. Lactic acid bacteria is a microorganism that helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or antibiotic use. Together, Dox-LB 100 Capsule helps in treating bacterial infections.

It is recommended to complete the course of Dox-LB 100 Capsule even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic. Leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance).

Dox-LB 100 Capsule is unlikely to cause diarrhoea as it contains lactic acid bacillus, a friendly bacteria. Avoid taking iron supplements, calcium supplements, multivitamins, laxatives or antacids along with Dox-LB 100 Capsule . Maintain a gap of two hours between Dox-LB 100 Capsule and other medicines.
