Doxyvax LB Capsule Substitute

Doxyvax LB Capsule contains Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are necessary for the survival of the bacteria, thereby kills the bacteria. Lactobacillus is a microorganism that helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or antibiotic use. Together, Doxyvax LB Capsule helps in treating bacterial infections.

Doxyvax LB Capsule is unlikely to cause diarrhoea as it contains lactobacillus, a friendly bacteria. Lactobacillus is a probiotic which helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to infections or the use of antibiotics. Thereby helps in preventing diarrhoea.

It is recommended to complete the course of Doxyvax LB Capsule even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic. Leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance).

Avoid taking iron supplements, calcium supplements, multivitamins, laxatives or antacids along with Doxyvax LB Capsule. Maintain a gap of two hours between Doxyvax LB Capsule and other medicines. However, consult your doctor before taking Doxyvax LB Capsule with other medicines.

Doxyvax LB Capsule contains doxycycline, which might make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen whilst going outside.
