Momstar -T Cream is used to treat fungal skin infections, such as eczema, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch, dermatitis, and tinea versicolor. Momstar -T Cream is composed of Mometasone (corticosteroid) and Terbinafine (antifungal). Mometasone is a corticosteroid and blocks prostaglandin's production (chemical messengers), which makes the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. It effectively treats inflammation and itchiness caused by eczema and psoriasis. Terbinafine is an antifungal drug that treats fungal infections by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane (a compound present in the fungi to maintain cell integrity) and thus resulting in fungal cell death.

Please consult your doctor before using Momstar -T Cream if you have other viral skin infections, diaper rash, diabetes, poor blood circulation, immune system problems, Cushing's disease (high cortisol levels), cataract and glaucoma, heart, liver, and kidney diseases. Let your doctor know if you are allergic to Momstar -T Cream or any of its components.
Momstar -T Cream consists of corticosteroids (Mometasone) that can cause a rise in blood sugar levels by suppressing insulin secretion. Hence it is advised to consult your doctor before starting Momstar -T Cream.
Momstar -T Cream is not recommended for diaper rash, since it contains a corticosteroid, Mometasone furoate. Your baby's paediatrician may suggest other medications for the treatment of diaper rash.
Momstar -T Cream, when used for longer periods, can cause thinning and weakening of the skin. Please stop using Momstar -T Cream and immediately consult your doctor if you notice these symptoms.
Do not stop taking Momstar -T Cream on your own even if the symptoms are relieved until your full course advised by the doctor is finished.
