Bacterial eye infections
Medicinal Benefits:
Nikmox Eye Drop treats and prevents bacterial eye infections. It contains Moxifloxacin, a quinolone antibiotic. Thus, Nikmox Eye Drop prevents bacteria from replication and kills them.
Nikmox Eye Drop works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme required for the replication, transcription, and repair of the DNA, leading to bacterial cell death. Thus, Nikmox Eye Drop helps in relieving and treating symptoms of bacterial eye infections.
It is recommended to complete the course even if you feel better as it is an antibiotic, and stopping it midway may lead to recurring infections. Continue using Nikmox Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed to treat your condition effectually.
Avoid the contact of the dropper/tube tip with fingers, eyes, and eyelids while using Nikmox Eye Drop. Secure the lid of the container immediately after use.
If you use another eye ointment/drops along with Nikmox Eye Drop, it is advised to maintain a gap of at least 5-10 minutes. Also, use eye drops before applying any ointment.
