Soregel Analgesic Gel is a combination of two drugs: Choline salicylate and lidocaine. Choline salicylate blocks the chemical messengers that cause inflammation. Lidocaine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby helps in decreasing the pain sensations. Together, Soregel Analgesic Gel helps in treating mouth ulcers.

Soregel Analgesic Gel should not be used for longer durations unless suggested by a doctor. If your condition does not improve despite using Soregel Analgesic Gel for 2 weeks, consult your doctor, he/she may prescribe you an alternate medicine.

Avoid eating foods that irritate mouth ulcers such as spicy, fried foods, and acidic fruits like grapefruit, pineapple, lemon or oranges. Include whole grains and alkaline foods in your diet.

Continue using Soregel Analgesic Gel for as long as your doctor has suggested it to you to treat your condition effectually. Avoid eating and drinking for 30-60minutes after using Soregel Analgesic Gel as it might impair your ability to swallow.
