About Acenext 100 mg Tablet
Acenext 100 mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) or pain killers used to reduce and relieve pain, and inflammation (swelling) associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Arthritis is a condition which affects the joints. Symptoms include swelling, pain, inflammation, stiffness, and tenderness.
Acenext 100 mg Tablet contains 'Aceclofenac' which works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme that makes other chemical prostaglandins. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser prostaglandins are produced. This helps in reducing mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.
You are advised to take Acenext 100 mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Acenext 100 mg Tablet may cause certain common side-effects such as dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, and increased liver enzymes in the blood.
