Acetik-HC Ear Drops 10 ml

Acetik-HC Ear Drops is indicated in the treatment of superficial infections of the external auditory canal caused by bacteria or fungus. It is used to treat outer ear infections such as swimmer’s ear. An ear infection occurs when fungi or bacteria affect the ear, leading to pain and inflammation.
 
Acetik-HC Ear Drops contains acetic acid and hydrocortisone. Acetic acid works by stopping the growth of fungi and bacteria. Hydrocortisone decreases swelling, itching, and redness occurring due to infection. Together, Acetik-HC Ear Drops helps treat ear infections.
 
In some cases, Acetik-HC Ear Drops may cause side effects such as temporary stinging or burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Acetik-HC Ear Drops is not recommended for children below 3 years as efficacy and safety have not been established. Do not touch the tip of the dropper, as it may contaminate the contents.

Do not use Acetik-HC Ear Drops if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have a perforated tympanic membrane (hole in the eardrum), ear injury/surgery, severe ear pain, hearing problems, fever, or viral infections such as vaccinia, chickenpox, or herpes. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Acetik-HC Ear Drops is not recommended for children below 3 years as efficacy and safety have not been established. To prevent contamination, avoid touching the nozzle tip to any surface during or after use. Do not use other ear medications unless advised by the doctor.

• Include fruits, vegetables, high-quality proteins and whole wheat grains in your diet to strengthen the immune system.
• Avoid consuming foods that you are allergic to, as it can cause the body to produce excess mucus leading to inflammation.
• Avoid getting things like shampoo, soap, and water into the ear, as it can cause itching.
• Do not poke or scratch the ear, as it can cause damage to the ear canal, leading to inflammation. Stay healthy as immunity prevents infections.

Acetik-HC Ear Drops is for otic (ear) use only. Avoid getting the medicine in the eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water if contact occurs.

Symptoms include pain or discomfort inside the ear, pus or fluid-like drainage from the ear, feeling of pressure inside the ear, and loss of hearing.
