Adalirel 20mg Injection belongs to the class of monoclonal TNF (Tumor necrosis factor) inhibitors that help reduce signs and symptoms of autoimmune disorders. It is primarily used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, plaque psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis. This medicine is also used in the treatment of Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and uveitis.
Adalirel 20mg Injection consists of Adalimumab, which works by inhibiting the TNF-α and TNF-β binding to the cell surface, thereby making the TNF cytokine inactive. This helps reduce inflammation and pain caused by various autoimmune diseases.
Adalirel 20mg Injection may cause certain side effects such as nausea, headache, back pain, upper respiratory tract infections, vision problems, dizziness, pale skin, numbness, chest pain, rash, and injection site reactions. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention or resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist for longer, please consult your doctor on priority. Adalirel 20mg Injection is a parenteral medicine. It will be administered by a trained healthcare doctor. Hence, do not self-administer.
