Menthol and camphor help to provide a cooling effect to the eye and reduces discomfort and pain.
Use Addcool Eye Drop as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Addcool Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. The most common side effects of Addcool Eye Drop are irritation, pain, blurred vision, photophobia at the application site, stinging. They do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Addcool Eye Drop is for external use only. Never encourage self-medication or suggest your medicine to someone else. If you wear contact lenses or are wearing them, remove it before using Addcool Eye Drop, and you can put it back 15 minutes after using Addcool Eye Drop. Do not take Addcool Eye Drop if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor about all the prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking, especially eye medications, and products. Addcool Eye Drop contains phenylephrine, a pregnancy category C, and its safety in pregnancy is unknown. So, Addcool Eye Drop should only be used in pregnancy and breastfeeding women if prescribed by a doctor. If you wear contact lenses or wearing them, remove it before using Addcool Eye Drop, and you can put it back 15 minutes after using Addcool Eye Drop. Wash your hands properly before using Addcool Eye Drop to avoid any infection. If you are using two eye medications, never put them together; wait for at least 5 minutes and then put the second one. Addcool Eye Drop contains phenylephrine, which is contraindicated when taken along with MAO inhibitor. So, Addcool Eye Drop should not be used if you are taking any MAO inhibitor to avoid any serious drug reaction. Also, Addcool Eye Drop should be taken at least 14 days after your last dose of anti-depressants, especially monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO).
