It is an anti-inflammatory agent and immunosuppressant that controls inflammation by acting on the immune system. It prevents the release of chemicals that cause inflammation. This effect helps in reducing swelling, pain and discomfort.
Afthus Ointment 5gm is for topical (skin) use only. Your doctor will advise the appropriate use of Afthus Ointment 5gm that suits your infection. Common side effects of Afthus Ointment 5gm include itching, dryness, irritation, redness and a burning sensation at the application site. Afthus Ointment 5gm reduces pain, swelling and inflammation associated with various skin conditions. It works by blocking the release of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation.
