About AIROL CREAM

AIROL CREAM  belongs to the class of drugs known as retinoids (synthetic or man-made vitamin A). AIROL CREAM is primarily used to treat acne (pimples) and sun-damaged skin. Acne is a skin condition that is common and occurs when hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil.

AIROL CREAM contains tretinoin, also known as retinoic acid (a form of vitamin A) that loosens and unblocks pores on the skin’s surface by reducing the oil secretion in the skin. This prevents the formation of pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads.

AIROL CREAM is for external use only. Your doctor will advise you on how often you use AIROL CREAM based on your medical condition. Avoid contact of AIROL CREAM with nose, mouth, eyes, ears, or vagina. In case AIROL CREAM comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience dry skin, peeling, redness, burning, itching, or stinging sensation of the skin. Most of these side effects of AIROL CREAM do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to AIROL CREAM or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant, nursing mother, or planning for pregnancy, it is advised to consult a doctor before using AIROL CREAM . Avoid sun exposure while using AIROL CREAM as it may make the skin more sensitive to sunlight and cause sunburn. Wear protective clothing and use a sunscreen lotion (SPF) while going out to protect your skin from sunburn. Do not apply AIROL CREAM in large amounts than prescribed as it does not give quick or better results but causes peeling, marked redness, or skin discomfort. Patients with a history of depression, eczema, history of skin cancer, and fish allergies should use AIROL CREAM with caution.

Uses of AIROL CREAM

Directions for Use

Wash your hands before and after applying AIROL CREAM . Before using it, try to clean and dry the affected skin area. Applying AIROL CREAM to wet skin may cause skin irritation, so try not to wash the treated area. Also do not apply other skin products for at least 1 hour after applying AIROL CREAM . Wash the face with mild soap and pat the skin dry. Take a small pearl-sized amount of AIROL CREAM on the fingertip and apply on the clean and dry affected area once a day in the evening. Avoid contact of AIROL CREAM with nose, mouth, eyes, ears or vagina. In case AIROL CREAM comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
