About Amfy Gel 30 gm

Amfy Gel 30 gm belongs to a class of medicines called 'antifungals' used to treat fungal skin infections. Also, Amfy Gel 30 gm is used to treat diaper rash and bed sores. A fungal infection is a disease in which fungi attack the tissue and cause infection. Fungi are commonly present in nature but do not cause infections normally.

Amfy Gel 30 gm contains Amphotericin B, which kills fungi by destroying the fungal outer cell membrane. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents.

Use Amfy Gel 30 gm as advised by the doctor. Amfy Gel 30 gm is only for external use. Sometimes, you may experience itching, irritation, redness or burning sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects of Amfy Gel 30 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Additionally, Amfy Gel 30 gm is used in dressing after wound debridement and burns which is also applied around catheters and tubes during intubation in the intensive care unit.

Directions for Use

Amfy Gel 30 gm is only for external use. Take a small amount of gel on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area, as advised by your doctor. Avoid contact of gel with the nose, mouth or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using gel if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.
