Amfy V Vaginal gel

Amfy V Vaginal gel belongs to a class of medicines called 'antifungals' used to treat vaginal fungal infections such as vaginal candidiasis. Vaginal candidiasis is an infection of the vagina and tissues at the vulva (opening of the vagina) caused by yeast (a type of fungi) called candida. It causes inflammation, intense itchiness, and thick, white discharge from the vagina. 

Amfy V Vaginal gel contains Amphotericin B, which kills fungi by destroying the fungal outer cell membrane. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents.

Use Amfy V Vaginal gel as advised by the doctor. Amfy V Vaginal gel is only for vaginal use. It is usually safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience unusual side effects, please consult your doctor.

• Avoid rice, white flour, foods or drinks fermented with yeast and foods made up of simple sugars to avoid a yeast infection.
• Consuming probiotics may help to restore good bacteria in your body. Certain fermented foods like kombucha, sauerkraut, kefir, kimchi and pickles, yoghurt with live bacterial cultures and supplements containing acidophilus or lactobacillus are good sources of probiotics.
• Your underwear should keep your genital area dry. Cotton underwear is a good choice.
• Do not wear swimsuits longer than necessary.
• Avoid tight-fitting clothes.
• Change pads and tampons when needed.
• Use mild, unscented soap and water to keep your vaginal area clean.
