Do not take AMIKAMAC 250MG INJECTION if you are allergic to any of the components, antibiotics related to aminoglycosides, sulphites, if you are suffering from a disorder called myasthenia gravis (severe weakness of muscles in the body), and dehydration. Talk to your doctor before taking AMIKAMAC 250MG INJECTION if you have any kidney problems, or hearing problems such as tinnitus (buzzing or ringing in the ears). You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking AMIKAMAC 250MG INJECTION as it may cause dizziness. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking AMIKAMAC 250MG INJECTION. The doctor will prescribe you AMIKAMAC 250MG INJECTION only if the benefits outweigh the potential risks.

• Antibiotics can alter the useful bacteria in the stomach which help in digestion. Therefore, you are advised to take foods rich in probiotics such as yoghurt/curd, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso, kombucha, buttermilk, natto and cheese.
• Eat fibre-rich food such as whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
• Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol and usage of tobacco.
