A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria infect the body. Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in the body.
 
Amoxyclav 1.2Gm Inj contains Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thus, it kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of Amoxycillin against the bacteria. Together, Amoxyclav 1.2Gm Inj helps in treating bacterial infections. 
 
The dose and duration of Amoxyclav 1.2Gm Inj depends on your condition and the severity of the infection.   • Eat fibre-rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
  • Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice, as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.
