About Anxital-M Tablet
Anxital-M Tablet is primarily used to treat psychogenic depression, depressive neurosis, psychosomatic affections accompanied by anxiety and apathy, asthenia, menopausal depression, depression in alcoholics and drug addicts. Depression is a mood disorder that affects a person's daily life and is described as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger. Anxital-M Tablet contains Flupentixol and Melitracen. Flupentixol is an antipsychotic medication that works by inhibiting dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that influences thoughts and mood. Melitracen is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that aid in mood regulation and the treatment of depression. Thus, Anxital-M Tablet effectively treats various forms of depression and anxiety.
Take Anxital-M Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on your medical condition. Common side effects of Anxital-M Tablet include insomnia, restlessness, agitation, dizziness, tremor, dry mouth, constipation, accommodation disorder and fatigue. Drug Warnings
Do not use Anxital-M Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Let your doctor know if you have circulatory collapse (specific failure of the blood circulation), depressed level of consciousness due to any cause (e.g. intoxication with alcohol, opiates or barbiturates), untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, coma, blood disorders, phaeochromocytoma (a small vascular tumour), recent myocardial infarction, any degree of atrioventricular block or disorders of cardiac rhythm and coronary artery insufficiency. Concomitant treatment of Anxital-M Tablet with MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) is contraindicated as it may cause serotonin syndrome (a combination of symptoms, possibly including confusion, agitation, tremor, hyperthermia and myoclonus). Therefore, do not take Anxital-M Tablet if you are taking MAOIs or have taken them in the past 14 days.
