About Arkamin H Tablet 10's

Arkamin H Tablet 10's is a combination of blood pressure-lowering medicine primarily used to treat high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high, leading to hypertension. Arkamin H Tablet 10's aids in lowering blood pressure to normal, thereby helping reduce the risk of having a stroke, heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in future.

Arkamin H Tablet 10's contains Clonidine and Hydrochlorothiazide. Clonidine is a vasodilator medicine that works by stimulating alpha receptors in the brain. This sends signals that help to relax blood vessels in the heart, which reduces your blood pressure and heart rate. Hydrochlorothiazide lowers blood pressure by removing extra water/fluid and certain electrolyte overload from the body.

Take Arkamin H Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Arkamin H Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor prescribes it. In some cases, Arkamin H Tablet 10's may cause side effects such as feeling sleepy, tired and weak, dizzy, dry mouth, constipation, bloating, erection problems, headaches, depression and difficulty sleeping. Most of these side effects of Arkamin H Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, contact your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to any components present in Arkamin H Tablet 10's, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is necessary to inform your doctor before using the Arkamin H Tablet 10's. If you observe any changes in your mood while taking Arkamin H Tablet 10's, please get in touch with your doctor right away. Avoid consuming alcohol with Arkamin H Tablet 10's as it may cause drowsiness. Because the Arkamin H Tablet 10's may induce drowsiness or dizziness in some people, you should only drive if you are attentive. Before taking Arkamin H Tablet 10's, inform your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are currently taking to rule out any potential negative effects. Arkamin H Tablet 10's is not recommended for children younger than 18 years of age.

Disease/Condition Glossary

Hypertension: Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to hypertension. This condition can lead to hardened arteries (blood vessels) and decreased blood and oxygen flow to the heart. Blood pressure is the measurement of the heart's force to pump blood to all body parts. Raised blood pressure can cause chest pain (angina) and heart attack (when the blood supply to the heart is blocked). High blood pressure also causes brain damage (stroke) and kidney failure.
