About Ascabiol Emulsion
Ascabiol Emulsion belongs to a class of drugs called ' Topical antiseptic' primarily used to treat wounds, cuts, minor burns and protect against infections. In addition to this, it is also used to treat scabies (A contagious, intensely itchy skin condition caused by a tiny, burrowing mite) and pediculosis (A condition in which tiny insects infest the scalp).

Disease/Condition Glossary
Scabies: Scabies is a skin infestation caused by a mite known as the Sarcoptes scabiei. Untreated, these microscopic mites can live on your skin for months. They reproduce on the surface of your skin and then burrow into it and lay eggs. This causes an itchy, red rash to form on the skin.
Pediculosis: Pediculosis is an infestation of the hairy parts of the body or clothing with the eggs, larvae, or adults of lice. The crawling stages of this insect feed on human blood, which can result in severe itching. Head lice are usually located on the scalp, crab lice in the pubic area, and body lice along seams of clothing. Symptoms include itching, visible lice on the scalp, and lice eggs (nits) on the hair shafts.
