Aurocrome Eye Solution 10 ml belongs to a class of medicines called ‘anti-inflammatory or anti-allergic drugs’ used to treat eye redness, itchy and watery eyes caused by allergies such as hay fever, per hair and house dust mites. An allergy is an immune system response to foreign elements typically not harmful to your body. Eye allergy is when the eye becomes red and swollen, leading to inflammation, discomfort, and pain.
Aurocrome Eye Solution 10 ml contains Sodium cromoglycate that works by stabilising mast cells (immune cells) and prevents the release of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Thus, it prevents allergic response and reduces allergic symptoms.
Aurocrome Eye Solution 10 ml is only for ophthalmic use (eyes). You are advised to use Aurocrome Eye Solution 10 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition.
