About Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml

Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml belongs to the class of medicines called immunosuppressants used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture. 

Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml contains Cyclosporine, which works by increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye. 

Use Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye pain, watery eyes, itching in the eye, redness or swelling of the eyelid, and blurred vision using Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml. Directions for Use

Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml. Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml is for external use only. Do not inject Aurosporine Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml.
