Axcve-625 Tablet 10's belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, bone, soft tissue, joints, urinary tract, and respiratory tract. Axcve-625 Tablet 10's may also be used to treat infectious diarrhoea. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria infect the body. Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in the body. Axcve-625 Tablet 10's does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.
 
Axcve-625 Tablet 10's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic acid, and Lactic acid bacillus. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, it kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of Amoxycillin against the bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic which helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut which may have gotten upset due to the infection. Together, Axcve-625 Tablet 10's helps in treating bacterial infections. 
 
The dose and duration of Axcve-625 Tablet 10's can vary depending on your condition and the severity of the infection. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as skin rashes, nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gas. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Axcve-625 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of the contents or if you have jaundice. Inform your doctor if you have glandular fever, inflammation of the intestine, fits, liver/kidney problems or if you are unable to pass urine regularly. Drug-Drug Interaction: Axcve-625 Tablet 10's may interact with anti-gout (allopurinol, probenecid), anticoagulants (warfarin), anti-cancer (methotrexate), and immunosuppressant (mycophenolate mofetil).

Drug-Disease Interaction: Axcve-625 Tablet 10's may have interactions with conditions such as colitis (inflammation in the lining of the colon), mononucleosis (viral infection with sore throat and fever), haemodialysis, liver and kidney dysfunction.

• Antibiotics can alter the useful bacteria in the stomach, which help in digestion. Therefore, you are advised to take foods rich in probiotics such as yoghurt/curd, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso, kombucha, buttermilk, natto and cheese.
• Eat fibre rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
• Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol.
• Avoid usage of tobacco.

Axcve-625 Tablet 10's might affect blood and urine tests. Inform the person doing the tests that you are taking Axcve-625 Tablet 10's.
