Be TD Injection 0.5 ml contains 'Diphtheria toxoid and Tetanus toxoid.' When injected into the muscle, it works by exposing the body to a small dose of bacteria or a protein from the bacteria. Thereby, it helps in providing immunity or resistance against diphtheria and tetanus diseases.

Be TD Injection 0.5 ml is given as a series of shots to children as booster doses at regular schedules prescribed by the doctor or local health worker. An adult should get a booster dose of Be TD Injection 0.5 ml every ten years.

If your child has shown a severe allergic reaction after the first shot, he/she should not get the booster doses since it can be life-threatening. Please consult your doctor for more information.

You can take other vaccines along with Be TD Injection 0.5 ml if you do not have any allergic reactions. If you are taking other vaccines and Be TD Injection 0.5 ml, they should be given by separate syringes and at different injection sites.

Be TD Injection 0.5 ml is to be stored in cold places at 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze the vial.
