Aspirin acts as a blood-thinning or anti-platelet agent in a low dose (about 75 mg) to prevent heart attack and stroke. Clopidogrel acts by preventing blood clots if you have severe chest pain (unstable angina or heart attack), stroke, and peripheral arterial disease (heart problem due to narrowed blood vessels).
