Benitowa TM Tablet 10's

Benitowa TM Tablet 10's belongs to the group of medicines called anti-hypertensive agents used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Benitowa TM Tablet 10's helps lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the chances of heart problems such as heart attack and stroke. High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels. 
 
Benitowa TM Tablet 10's consists of Benidipine and Telmisartan. Benidipine acts on the calcium channels of the blood vessels and enlarges the coronary vessel and peripheral arteries, and helps smooth blood flow. Telmisartan relaxes the blood vessels by blocking the effect of the angiotensin II receptor. Together, these drugs help treat hypertension.
 
In some cases, Benitowa TM Tablet 10's may cause side effects, such as headache, dizziness, tiredness, and stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Do not take Benitowa TM Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor before taking Benitowa TM Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Benitowa TM Tablet 10's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Inform your doctor if you are due to undergo any surgery. Let your doctor know about your health condition and ongoing medications to rule out any unpleasant side effects/interactions.

Benitowa TM Tablet 10's is a combination of two drugs, namely: Benidipine and Telmisartan. Do not take Benitowa TM Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, renal artery stenosis (narrowing of the blood vessels to one or both kidneys), raised aldosterone levels, low blood pressure, elevated potassium levels in the blood, cardiogenic shock, heart, kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Benitowa TM Tablet 10's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Rise slowly from lying/sitting position as Benitowa TM Tablet 10's may cause dizziness and light-headedness.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Inform your doctor if you are taking painkillers (aspirin), cardiac glycoside (digoxin), ACE-inhibitor (enalapril, lisinopril, ramipril), direct renin inhibitors (aliskiren).

This condition can lead to hardened arteries (blood vessels), decreasing the blood and oxygen flow to the heart. Raised blood pressure can cause chest pain (angina) and heart attack (when the blood supply to the heart is blocked). Symptoms of high blood pressure include headache, dizziness, nose bleed, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnoea (shortness of breath). However, most of the time, the signs and symptoms of hypertension are none.
