About Bepostar 10mg Tablet

Bepostar 10mg Tablet belongs to the class of medications called ‘antihistamines’ used to treat allergic conditions such as redness, swelling, itching, red or watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. An allergy is an immune system response to foreign elements typically not harmful to your body. These foreign elements are known as ‘allergens.’ Allergic condition varies from person to person. 

Bepostar 10mg Tablet contains ‘Bepotastine’ which acts as an antihistamine. It blocks the action of histamines (chemicals causing allergic symptoms) and reduces the allergic reaction. It provides quick relief from allergic symptoms.

You are advised to take Bepostar 10mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition.  In some cases, Bepostar 10mg Tablet may cause headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects of Bepostar 10mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take Bepostar 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to ‘Bepotastine’ or any other contents present in it. Bepostar 10mg Tablet works by blocking the release of histamine (a naturally occurring substance) in the body, responsible for producing symptoms of allergy.

Hay fever is an allergy caused due to outdoor or indoor allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, or tiny flecks of skin and saliva shed by cats, dogs, and other animals with fur or feathers (pet dander). It leads to cold-like symptoms (running nose, watery eyes).

Bepostar 10mg Tablet may cause drowsiness as one of its side effects. Please consult your doctor if you feel dizzy for a longer time. Avoid driving or operating machinery during episodes of drowsiness.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until then to take Bepostar 10mg Tablet and skip the missed dose. Do not take an extra dose to make up for the missed dose.
