About Bio-D3 Fem Capsule

Bio-D3 Fem Capsule belongs to the class of medicines called dietary supplements used to prevent bone loss in peri and post-menopausal women. Perimenopause means the time around menopause during which ovaries produce less estrogen and stops releasing eggs. Postmenopause is a condition in which women have not had a period for 12 months or longer. As the density of bones decreases, they weaken and are more likely to break

Bio-D3 Fem Capsule is a combination of five drugs, namely: Calcitriol, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium, Soya Isoflavones, and Vitamin K2-7. This helps in improving the absorption rate of calcium from the stomach. Calcium carbonate is a mineral that is used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. Magnesium is a mineral that promotes the normal functioning of muscles. Soya isoflavones work by improving the health of the heart and strengthening bones in postmenopausal women. Vitamin K2 7 helps to maintain bone density.
