Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml belongs to a group of medicines called ‘anticholinergics/anti-muscarinic and antispasmodic agents’ used to treat irritable bowel syndrome/functional bowel syndrome. Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml is indicated when oral therapy is temporarily ineffective. Irritable bowel syndrome is an intestinal disorder that causes stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, and wind.

Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml contains ‘Dicycloverine’, which stops sudden muscle contractions and relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestine. Thereby, Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml helps treat irritable bowel syndrome.
 
In some cases, Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml may cause common side effects, such as dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, nervousness, weakness, and sleepiness. Most of the side effects of Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before receiving Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml. Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so drive or operate machinery only if you are alert. The safety and effectiveness of Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml in children have not been established. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any interactions/side effects.

Do not take Biospas 10 Injection 2 ml if you are allergic to any of the components if you have glaucoma, unstable cardiovascular status in acute haemorrhage, myasthenia gravis, obstructive uropathy, gastrointestinal obstruction, severe ulcerative colitis, or reflux esophagitis. Inform your doctor if you have muscle problems, psychosis, incomplete intestinal obstruction, ulcerative colitis, prostatic hypertrophy, heart, kidney, or liver problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. 

• Eat smaller meals more often.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercising.
• Avoid carbonated and caffeinated beverages.
• Practise relaxation techniques and avoid stress by doing yoga or meditation.
• Avoid foods such as high-fat, spicy, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomato, onion, garlic, tea and soda. 
• Avoid deep-fried and spicy foods.
