Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's is a combination of blood pressure-lowering medicines primarily used to treat high blood pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart diseases, irregular heartbeat, and other complications. Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's lowers the blood pressure and helps in reducing the risk of having a stroke, heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future. 

Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's contains Amlodipine and Bisoprolol fumarate. Amlodipine acts by relaxing the blood vessels. This reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Bisoprolol fumarate helps in relaxing the blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in the body. Together, Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's helps treat high blood pressure.

You are advised to take Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed, to treat your condition effectively. In some cases, Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's may cause side effects like headache, dizziness, palpitations, abdominal pain, ankle swelling, and oedema. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Avoid taking Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of the components. Consult your doctor before starting Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 18years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Avoid alcohol consumption along with Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's as it may potentiate the blood pressure-lowering effect of Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's.

Avoid taking Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of the components. Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, diabetes, Prinzmetal angina, psoriasis, pheochromocytoma, very slow heartbeat, serious heart condition, heart blockage, kidney or liver problems, muscle disorder (myasthenia gravis, rhabdomyolysis), breathing problem (COPD, bronchitis, emphysema), low blood pressure (hypotension), depression, previous heart failure, thyroid hormone disorder, adrenal gland cancer, or problems with circulation (Raynaud’s syndrome). Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's may interact with other beta-blockers (acebutolol, atenolol, bisoprolol, carteolol, esmolol, metoprolol, nadolol, nebivolol or sotalol), anti-hypertensive drugs (aliskiren, amiloride, enalapril, captopril, quinapril, diltiazem), asthma medications (theophylline, aminophylline), potassium-rich supplements or any other pain killers (ibuprofen). If you are using these medicines, inform your doctor before taking Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's. 

Drug-Food Interaction: Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's is known to interact with grapefruit and protein-enriched foods. Using Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's together with ayurvedic, homoeopathy, Unani, herbal supplements, or any other OTC items may decrease the effects of Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's. Hence, it is better to maintain at least 2 hours gap between the administration of Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's and these products. 

Drug-Disease Interaction: Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, thyroid disease, asthma, cardiogenic shock (when the heart fails to pump required blood to the body), heart valve problem (stenosis), low blood pressure (hypotension), coronary heart disease, liver disease or heart failure.

• Do regular physical activity or exercise for at least 150 minutes per week, or about 30 minutes most days of the week.
• Opt for a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy products.
• Quitting smoking is the best strategy to lower the risk of heart disease.
• Avoid chronic stress as it can raise your blood pressure. Try to enjoy and spend time with your loved ones to cope with stress and practice mindfulness techniques.
• Try to include heart-healthy omega 3 fatty acids containing food and drinks in your daily diet. You can also use low-fat cooking oil like olive oil, soybean oil, canola oil, and coconut oil as they may help in lowering your elevated blood pressure.

• Limit intake of sodium chloride (table salt) in your daily diet to 2300 mg per day.
• If you accidentally take an extra dose of Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's, please inform your doctor immediately. Some of the common symptoms of an overdose can be low blood pressure, slow pulse, shortness of breath, low blood sugar, dizziness, feeling sick and blue discolouration of the skin.
•  Do not discontinue taking Bliska-AM 5 Tablet 10's abruptly or without the advice of the physician.
