About Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule
Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule belongs to a class of drugs called retinoids (similar to vitamin A). Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule is used to treat acute promyelocytic leukaemia (a type of blood problem). Acute promyelocytic leukaemia is a blood cancer that causes a marked increase in a type of immature white blood cells known as promyelocytes in the blood and bone marrow.
Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule contains Tretinoin, a form of vitamin A that works by reducing the excessive production of abnormal blood cells and stimulates the growth of normal, mature cells in blood and bone marrow. Thus, helps in the treatment of acute promyelocytic leukaemia.
Take Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you how often you need to take Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dizziness, headache, feeling tired, stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, hair loss, bone or joint pain, dry skin and changes in eyesight or hearing. Most of these side effects of Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Tretinoin, peanuts, soya or any other ingredients in Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule , please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule if you are pregnant as it may harm the foetus. Avoid breastfeeding while taking Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule as it is excreted into breast milk and may harm the baby. Avoid taking Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule if you are taking other retinoid medicines (acitretin, tazarotene, isotretinoin), vitamin A and tetracyclines (antibiotics). If you are allergic to any sugars, please inform your doctor before taking Ca Retrans Softgel Capsule as it may contain sorbitol.
