Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml is a combination of three medicines namely: calamine, diphenhydramine, and camphor. Calamine and camphor are two astringents whereas diphenhydramine is anti-allergic. The astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation and the antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.

Use  Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Before you apply Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml topical, wash the skin with soap and water. Allow the skin to dry completely. Apply Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml directly to the skin and rub it gently, allowing it to dry on your skin. You may also use a cotton ball to smooth the medicine onto your skin. Usually, Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml does not cause any side-effects, sometimes may have side effects like hives, rash, redness, and difficulty in breathing, in that case, contact your doctor immediately.

• Do not use on extensive areas of skin for longer than 7 days
• Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes
• Discontinue if rash or burning sensation occurs
• Do not stop the Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml suddenly after relieving the symptoms on your own, there may be a chance of reoccurrence of symptoms. So take the advise of your doctor before stopping the Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml

• Quitting smoking
• Limit alcohol
• Take foods like blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges, papaya, strawberries, and sweet potatoes.
• Avoid oily content foods, white grains, chocolate.

• Wash your hands with soap and water after applying for the medicine.
• Before you apply Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml topical, wash the skin with soap and water. Allow the skin to dry completely.
