About Calcidef Tablet 10's

Calcidef Tablet 10's belongs to a class of medications called nutritional supplements used to treat nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and the prevention of diseases.

Calcidef Tablet 10's is a combination of four drugs, namely: Elemental Calcium, Folic acid, Glycine, and Vitamin D2. Elemental Calcium strengthens bones and reduces weakness. Folic acid is essential for heme (a pigmented, iron-containing portion of haemoglobin in red blood cells) formation. Glycine is an amino acid necessary for the healthy development of muscles, tissues, and skeleton. Vitamin D2 is essential for intestinal phosphorus and calcium absorption. Thereby, Calcidef Tablet 10's improves the overall health of the body.

Take Calcidef Tablet 10's as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite, or flatulence (gas). Most of these side effects of Calcidef Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Calcidef Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Calcidef Tablet 10's should be used in children only if advised by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using Calcidef Tablet 10's. If you are undergoing dialysis, inform your doctor before taking Calcidef Tablet 10's. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications or herbal products before starting Calcidef Tablet 10's.
