Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's belongs to the group of medicines called nutritional supplements used to treat nutritional deficiency. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb/get enough nutrients from food. Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's may be used in the management of hypocalcaemia in patients undergoing dialysis, post-menopausal osteoporosis, low calcium levels in hypoparathyroidism, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, renal tubular osteocalcaemia, vitamin D dependant rickets, hypocalcaemia and hypomagnesaemia.
 
Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's is a combination of four supplements, namely: Calcium carbonate, cholecalciferol, magnesium hydroxide and zinc. Calcium carbonate makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Cholecalciferol is a form of vitamin D which helps in the absorption of calcium. Magnesium hydroxide aids in the absorption of calcium by converting vitamin D into its active form. Zinc is necessary for bone-building cells, normal growth, and tissue repair. Together, Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's helps in strengthening of bones.
 
You are advised to take Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as stomach upset, constipation, muscle weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, or herbal products before starting Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's. If you are known to be allergic to any of the components in Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's, please inform your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's should not be given to children unless recommended by a doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's.

Do not take Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have hypercalcaemia (high level of calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine), nephrocalcinosis (excess calcium deposition in the kidneys), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D), severe renal impairment or renal failure. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's should be given to children only if recommended by the doctor. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines or herbal products before starting Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's may interact with anti-epileptic (phenytoin, phenobarbital), corticosteroid (cortisone), diuretics, tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics, and cardiac glycoside. 

Drug-Food Interactions: Maintain a gap of two hours between Calcimax Forte+ Tablet 30's and foods containing oxalic acid and phytic acids such as spinach, rhubarb, and whole-grain cereals.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have hypercalcaemia (high level of calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine), nephrocalcinosis (excess calcium deposition in the kidneys), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D), malabsorption, severe renal impairment or renal failure.
