About Candibiotic Plus Ear Drops 5 ml

Candibiotic Plus Ear Drops 5 ml is used to treat bacterial and fungal ear infections. An ear infection occurs when microbes like bacteria and fungi infect the outer and middle ear (air-filled space behind the eardrum). Symptoms include ear pain, fever, irritability, drainage of fluid from the ear, and hearing loss.

Candibiotic Plus Ear Drops 5 ml contains Clotrimazole (antifungal), Neomycin (antibiotic) and Beclometasone (corticosteroid). Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi by causing damage to the fungal cell membrane. Neomycin prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Beclometasone blocks prostaglandins (chemical messengers) production which makes the affected area red, swollen and itchy. It prevents inflammation and allergy.

Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose that suits your condition. Candibiotic Plus Ear Drops 5 ml is for otic (ear) use only.
