Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) belongs to a class of medication called anti-infectives used to treat various fungal and bacterial infections. Also, Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) may be used to treat infections such as giardiasis and amoebiasis (stomach infections), and trichomoniasis (genital infection) caused by protozoa. Fungal infection is a disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may affect the skin and spread into bones, tissues, organs, or the whole body. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) is a combination of two drugs, namely: Fluconazole (antifungal) and Tinidazole (antiprotozoal). The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Fluconazole belongs to the class of antifungals that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and killing fungi. Tinidazole belongs to the class of antiprotozoals that works by damaging the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria and protozoa and inhibits the formation of new DNA. Thereby, killing micro-organisms and clearing the infection.

Take Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) as prescribed by your doctor. Drug-Drug Interaction: Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) may interact with a blood thinner (warfarin), antibiotics (rifampicin, erythromycin, rifabutin, nitrofurantoin), antidepressants (nortriptyline, amitriptyline), antifungals (voriconazole, amphotericin B), benzodiazepines (triazolam, midazolam), anticonvulsants (phenytoin, carbamazepine), pain relievers (ibuprofen, lornoxicam, meloxicam, diclofenac, celecoxib, flurbiprofen, naproxen), antiallergic drugs (astemizole, terfenadine), antipsychotic drug (pimozide), drug for stomach upset (cisapride), medicines used to lower high blood pressure (verapamil, felodipine, losartan, nifedipine, isradipine, amlodipine), antiarrhythmic agent (quinidine), anticancer drug (ibrutinib, olaparib), antiasthma drug (theophylline), anti-HIV drugs (saquinavir, zidovudine), antidiabetics (glibenclamide, glipizide, chlorpropamide, tolbutamide).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid drinking beer, wine or spirits while taking Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) and for 3 days after treatment with Canfree-Kit (1 Capsule +2 Tablet) as it may cause stomach cramps, pounding heart, stomach cramps, or flushing (sudden feeling of warmth).
