About Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml

Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml belongs to the class of medicines called immunosuppressants used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture. 

Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml contains Cyclosporine, which works by increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye. 

Use Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye pain, watery eyes, itching in the eye, redness or swelling of the eyelid, and blurred vision using Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml. Dry eyes and severe keratitis

Directions for Use

Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml. Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml is for external use only. Do not inject Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml.
