About Ceremax-Plus Tablet
Ceremax-Plus Tablet belongs to a group of drugs called central nervous system agents/neuroprotective agents, used to protect nerves from various causes such as head injury, stroke and Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder that causes dementia (memory loss) and slowly destroys the ability to think, learn, communicate and manage daily activities.

Disease/Condition Glossary
Alzheimer's disease: Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder that causes memory loss and destroys the ability to think slowly, learn, communicate and eventually perform daily activities. It is the most common cause of memory loss (dementia) in adults. Memory loss (Dementia) is a loss of cognitive function such as remembering, thinking and reasoning. The causes of this disease are abnormal functioning of brain cells and disruption of communication between them. Risk factors include individual age, family history and genetics.
Stroke: A stroke is a life-threatening medical illness that occurs when part of the brain's blood supply is cut off. Ischemic strokes (in which the blood supply is cut off due to a blood clot) and haemorrhagic strokes (where a weakened blood vessel supplying the blood bursts) are the two most common types of strokes.
