Cet Plus 400 mg/60 mg Tablet belongs to the class of 'nootropics' primarily used to improve cognitive or mental function, especially in the people with neurodegenerative problems, traumatic brain injury or stroke. Cet Plus 400 mg/60 mg Tablet treat memory disorders, myoclonus (a movement disorder), anxiety disorder, dementia (memory loss) in Alzheimer's disease, vision problems, seizure disorder (epilepsy), dizziness (vertigo), and dyslexia (a learning disorder marked by difficulty reading). Myoclonus is a movement disorder that causes uncontrollable twitching and jerky movements of arms and legs. Alzheimer's disease is a neurological disorder that causes dementia (memory loss), and slowly destroys the ability to think, learn, communicate, and handle daily activities. 

Cet Plus 400 mg/60 mg Tablet contains two medicines: 'Ginkgo Biloba' and 'Piracetam.' Ginkgo Biloba is a herbal product widely used to treat memory issues, thought problems, anxiety and vision problems. Besides this, Ginkgo also acts as an antioxidant that works by improving blood circulation in the brain, eyes, ears, and legs, thus improving these organs' better functioning. On the other hand, Piracetam belongs to the chemical messenger class in the brain called GABA (gamma amino-butyric acid). It works by acting on the nervous system and brain, thereby protecting against shortness of oxygen, blood, and nutrients. It also improves the activity of a chemical messenger/neurotransmitter called acetylcholine and improves mental function, such as memory and thinking.

Brief your medical history if you have any liver or kidney diseases, Huntington's disease (brain disorder), heart problems, fits, diabetes, plant allergies, food allergies, and bleeding disorders before starting Cet Plus 400 mg/60 mg Tablet. Do not consume roasted seeds of Ginkgo plant since it is unsafe and leads to breathing difficulty and fits. Cet Plus 400 mg/60 mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy since Ginkgo biloba may cause premature labour or heaving bleeding during childbirth. Ginkgo also passes into breast milk. Hence, please consult your doctor if you are a pregnant or breastfeeding woman. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Cet Plus 400 mg/60 mg Tablet as it might lead to increased dizziness.
