Clolite Ze Cream belongs to the class of dermatological medication primarily used to treat skin infections like dermatitis (itchy, dry skin or rash), psoriasis, eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin patches) and allergies. Skin infection occurs when a foreign microorganism like fungus or bacteria invades the skin and affects the tissue on the skin. Psoriasis is a skin disorder in which skin cells multiply and form bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales.

Clolite Ze Cream consists of two medicines, namely: Clobetasol (corticosteroid) and Zinc sulfate (antiseptic and astringent). Clobetasol is a highly potent ‘corticosteroid’ with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic (relieves itching) and vasoconstrictive (narrows blood vessels) properties. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers), which make the skin red, swollen and itchy. On the other hand, Zinc sulfate is antiseptic and astringent. It is topically used for healing skin wounds and ulcers. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and relieves the redness, irritation and scars caused by acne. Zinc sulfate cleanses the skin, tightens pores and reduces oil production. It also has peeling and antioxidant effects.

Clolite Ze Cream is for external use only. Use this medication on the skin only as advised by the doctor. Clolite Ze Cream is generally safe to use. Some may experience common side effects like burning, irritation, itching, redness and thinning of skin at the application site. Most of these side effects of Clolite Ze Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. If these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth while using Clolite Ze Cream. Rinse it off with water thoroughly if you get the medicine in these areas. Brief your medical history to the doctor if you are allergic to Clolite Ze Cream or any of its components. Let your doctor know if you have any medical history of liver, or kidney diseases, glaucoma, cataract, poor blood circulation, immune system problems, diabetes and adrenal gland diseases. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use Clolite Ze Cream with proper consultation and caution. Clolite Ze Cream is not recommended for children less than 12 years of age.

Therapy with topical corticosteroids like Clobetasol should be administered cautiously in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral and protozoa infections. Let your doctor know if you have a history of liver, kidney diseases, glaucoma, cataract, poor blood circulation, immune system problems, diabetes and adrenal gland diseases before starting Clolite Ze Cream. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should use Clolite Ze Cream only with proper doctor consultation and caution. Avoid contact of Clolite Ze Cream with eyes, nose and mouth. Rinse it off with water thoroughly if you get the medicine in these areas. Do not put a bandage or a dressing on the affected area while using Clolite Ze Cream unless advised by the doctor. Always wash hands before and after the application of Clolite Ze Cream. Do not store Clolite Ze Cream above 25°C.

• Use mild soap while taking baths and prefer warm baths.
• Always wear loose-fitting clothes to avoid further sweat and the spread of fungal infections.
• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of the skin, as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bed sheets, shoes or socks with others.
• Wash your bedsheets and towels regularly.
• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.
• Do not scratch or pick your skin to avoid getting the affected area infected.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and sleep peacefully. 

• Monitor your blood sugar levels and blood pressure regularly while using Clolite Ze Cream.
• If you do not notice any improvement of your infection after using Clolite Ze Cream for one to two weeks, please consult your doctor.
