Cloyap-CS Lotion is a combination medicine used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, Cloyap-CS Lotion may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition which causes an itchy rash with flaky scales.
 
Cloyap-CS Lotion is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Coal tar, and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. Together, Cloyap-CS Lotion helps in treating psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
 
You are advised to use Cloyap-CS Lotion for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Lotion if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply Cloyap-CS Lotion on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion if you are allergic to any of the contents. Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, lupus, sensitivity of the skin to light, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Lotion if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Cloyap-CS Lotion should be used with caution in children if prescribed by the doctor.

• Include foods such as cherries, berries, leafy vegetables, salmon, sardines, and fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
• Consume antioxidant-rich spices and herbs like cumin, ginger, sage, and thyme.
• Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and fatty foods.
• Limit food intake that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a good sleep cycle would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using Cloyap-CS Lotion.
• Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion on dressing, band-aids, and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Cloyap-CS Lotion comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Cloyap-CS Lotion. However, do not wash your hands if you are applying Cloyap-CS Lotion on your hands.
• Do not apply Cloyap-CS Lotion on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.

Dermatitis could occur due to stress, hormonal changes, irritating substances, or family history.
