Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM

Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM is a combination medicine used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition which causes an itchy rash with flaky scales.
 
Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Coal tar, and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. Together, Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM helps in treating psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
 
You are advised to use Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Do not use Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Do not use Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM if you are allergic to any of the contents. Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, lupus, sensitivity of the skin to light, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. • Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and fatty foods.
• Limit food intake that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a good sleep cycle would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM.
• Do not use Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM on dressing, band-aids, and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM. However, do not wash your hands if you are applying Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM on your hands.
• Do not apply Cloyap-CS Ointment 100 GM on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.
