Cramps-D Tablet belongs to the group of vitamin and mineral supplements used to strengthen bones, promote muscle, bone growth and development. Cramps-D Tablet contains Vitamin D3 and Magnesium. Cramps-D Tablet strengthens bones, muscles and joints by helping with the absorption of calcium and facilitating the binding of calcium to bones. Cramps-D Tablet alleviates joint and muscle pain by relaxing muscles and relieving them of excess contraction.
Cramps-D Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cramps-D Tablet does not generally cause any side effects. In rare cases, it may cause side effects such as mild loss of appetite, nausea and fatigue. Most of these adverse effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your physician if these side effects persist.
Keep your physician informed if you suffer from kidney problems, diabetes, phenylketonuria, bleeding disorders, high levels of blood potassium and/or calcium, or if you have been immobilised for some time. Also, inform if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or consuming alcohol before using Cramps-D Tablet .

Vitamin D3 is an active form of Vitamin D, which increases the production of carrier proteins responsible for mobilising calcium ions from the gut into the body, replenishing its stores. Vitamin D3 also activates bone-producing cells (osteoblasts) and reduces urinary loss of calcium from the body. Hence, Vitamin D is vital in maintaining adequate levels of calcium in the body. Cramps-D Tablet should be used with caution in case of high risk or previous history of kidney disease or hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels) and or hypophosphatemia (high blood phosphate levels). Keep your physician informed if you suffer from any kidney problems, hypercalcemia, diabetes, phenylketonuria, if you have been immobilized for some time, or if you have recently had any surgery. Offer a detailed medical history and medication history especially if you are on steroids, heart medication such as digoxin, epilepsy medications that deplete calcium reserves, tetracycline antibiotics, antimalarial drugs, chelating agents, iron, urine-producing medicines (diuretics), or magnesium-containing antacids. Consult your physician before using Cramps-D Tablet during pregnancy or even if you are trying to get pregnant.
Drug-Drug Interactions: Cramps-D Tablet may interact with fluorides, EDTA, Vitamin D analogues, antiepileptics (phenytoin, carbamazepine), diuretics (bendroflumethiazide, chlortalidone and indapamide), heart medicines (digoxin or digitoxin), antimalarials (quinine, mefloquine, chloroquine), magnesium-containing antacids, iron, antibiotics (nitrofurantoin, nitroxoline), medicine for rheumatoid arthritis (penicillamine), steroids (hydrocortisone, prednisolone, dexamethasone), cholesterol-reducing drugs (cholestyramine), phosphate, tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline), and bisphosphonates (alendronate).
