Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm is a combination medicine used to provide relief from inflammation and itching associated with allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, mild to moderate eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin), and insect bite reactions. Also, it is used in the treatment of scabies. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin.

Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm contains Crotamiton and Hydrocortisone. Crotamiton is a scabicide and antipruritic agent which works by killing mites (tiny insects) and their eggs. Hydrocortisone is a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. 

Use Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your medical condition. Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm is usually safe when used in the correct amount for the prescribed time. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm. Do not use Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm in children under 10 years of age except under medical supervision. Do not apply Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm on exudative wounds (fluid comes out of a wound), ulcerated areas, or broken or very inflamed skin. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with Crotorax-HC Cream 10 gm catches fire and burns easily.

• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid), such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid consuming foods with excess sugar, as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a regular sleep pattern would be helpful.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

Scabies: It is a skin condition caused by mites known as Sarcoptes scabiei. It causes an itchy skin rash and is contagious (spreads from one person to another person).
