About CVMET TABLET

CVMET TABLET is a combination medicine used to treat diabetes. Diabetes occurs when the body does not produce enough insulin or cannot use the insulin as well as it should. It is a condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal.

CVMET TABLET contains Chromium, Metformin, and Voglibose. Chromium works by increasing insulin sensitivity. Metformin lowers the absorption and production of sugar in the body. Voglibose slows the breakdown of complex sugars into simpler sugars.

CVMET TABLET may cause some side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, flatulence, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are recommended to consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take CVMET TABLET if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor about your medications and health condition to rule out any unpleasant side effects/interactions.

Medicinal Benefits

CVMET TABLET is a combination medicine used to treat diabetes. CVMET TABLET contains Chromium, Metformin, and Voglibose. Chromium increases insulin sensitivity, protects the integrity of insulin receptors and allows effective binding of insulin. Metformin lowers the absorption and production of sugar in the body. It allows the better use of existing insulin. Voglibose reduces the post-meal rise in blood sugar levels by slowing the breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars. Together, CVMET TABLET helps control blood sugar levels.
