DD PRAMINE 10MG TABLET belongs to a class of drugs called 'antidepressant' used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, panic and anxiety disorder. OCD is a mental disorder with symptoms such as excessive thoughts or ideas (obsessions), leading to repetitive behaviours (compulsions). Depression is a mood disorder associated with symptoms such as sadness, unable to sleep properly or enjoy life as you used to do. Panic or anxiety disorder is linked to anxiety with sudden feelings of unnecessary fear or worries even when there is no danger in reality.
DD PRAMINE 10MG TABLET contains Clomipramine which works by increasing the activity of serotonin and noradrenaline (chemical messengers) in the brain involved in regulating mood, behaviour and emotions.
