About Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT

Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT belongs to the group of medicines called iron chelators. Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT is indicated for treating chronic iron overload due to blood transfusions (transfusional hemosiderosis) in patients two years older. It can also be indicated for treating chronic iron overload in patients ten years of age and older with non-transfusion-dependent thalassemia (NTDT).

The active ingredient in Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT is deferasirox. It is a trivalent iron selective chelating agent. It binds the excess iron and eliminates it through faeces. The danger of organ damage is reduced as a result.

Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT is available in the form of oral formulations. Please take Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor based on specific medical conditions. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

To treat your condition effectually, continue using Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Do not use Deferataj 125mg Tablet DT without a doctor's advice if you have a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine.
