About Degrinta-120 Injection

Degrinta-120 Injection belongs to the group of medicines called gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor antagonists indicated in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is a cancer that occurs in the man’s prostate, a male reproductive gland.
 
Degrinta-120 Injection contains Degarelix, a synthetic hormone blocker which works by decreasing the amount of testosterone and helps to stop or slow the spread of prostate cancer cells that require testosterone for their growth.
 
In some cases, Degrinta-120 Injection may cause side effects such as injection site reaction and hot flushes. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if any of the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
 
Let the doctor know if you are allergic to any of the components in Degrinta-120 Injection. This medicine is not intended for use in women. Degrinta-120 Injection belongs to the group of medicines called gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor antagonists indicated in the treatment of adult male patients with prostate cancer and high-risk prostate cancer before radiation therapy and in combination with radiotherapy. Degrinta-120 Injection contains Degarelix, a synthetic hormone blocker which works by decreasing the amount of testosterone and helps to stop or slow the spread of prostate cancer cells that require testosterone for their growth. Thereby, it helps treat prostate cancer.

  • Apply a hot/cold pack to the affected area.

Drug Warnings

Do not use Degrinta-120 Injection if you are allergic to any of its components. Avoid rubbing or scratching the injection site. After you receive a dose of Degrinta-120 Injection, avoid allowing your body fluids to come into contact with your hands or other surfaces for at least 48 hours.
