About Derisone-L Respicaps

Derisone-L Respicaps is a combination medicine used to treat asthma. Asthma is a respiratory condition caused by hypersensitive airways, which become inflamed, swollen and filled with mucous, making breathing difficult. Symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, and cough.

Derisone-L Respicaps contains Beclomethasone Dipropionate (corticosteroids) and Levosalbutamol (bronchodilators). Levosalbutamol works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Beclomethasone Dipropionate works by preventing the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions. Thus, Derisone-L Respicaps makes breathing easier.

Use Derisone-L Respicaps as prescribed. In some cases, Derisone-L Respicaps may cause certain common side effects such as thrush, hoarseness of voice and headache. These side effects do not require acute medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you should talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

Uses of Derisone-L Respicaps

Directions for Use

Derisone-L Respicaps should be used via inhalation with an inhaler. Your doctor or nurse will show you how to use the inhaler properly. Place the inhaler upright in your mouth and insert the mouthpiece between your teeth. Please do not bite it. When you begin to breathe in through your mouth, press the top of the inhaler to release a puff of air while continuing to inhale. After that, hold your breath. Remove the inhaler gently and hold your breath for as long as it feels comfortable. Breathe slowly out. If you require another puff, wait a minute before repeating the steps above. To avoid dust or fluff, close the mouthpiece with the cover after use.
