Dermitop Spray 15 ml belongs to the class of medicines called ‘corticosteroids’ used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itchiness and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches.

Dermitop Spray 15 ml contains Mometasone, a potent corticosteroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such substances are released normally.

Use Dermitop Spray 15 ml as prescribed. You are advised to use Dermitop Spray 15 ml for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your condition. Dermitop Spray 15 ml is for external use only. Avoid contact of Dermitop Spray 15 ml with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Dermitop Spray 15 ml comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience inflamed hair follicles, acne, thinning of the skin, itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Mometasone or other medicines.  If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Dermitop Spray 15 ml. Dermitop Spray 15 ml is not recommended for children for long-term use as it may lead to slow growth. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice vision changes after using Dermitop Spray 15 ml. Stop using Dermitop Spray 15 ml and contact your doctor if your skin becomes sensitive or irritated. Do not cover or wrap the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Avoid using Dermitop Spray 15 ml for more than five days in children and on the face. Avoid using Dermitop Spray 15 ml in or around the eyes, including eyelids. Do not use Dermitop Spray 15 ml on large areas of the body or for a longer duration.

Avoid using Dermitop Spray 15 ml in or around the eyes, including eyelids. Do not use Dermitop Spray 15 ml on large areas of the body or for a longer duration.

Drug-Disease Interactions: If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), cold sores, genital itching, chickenpox, shingles, warts, wounds, ulcerated skin, please inform your doctor before using Dermitop Spray 15 ml.

• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid), such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid the consumption of foods with excess sugar, as it may flare up inflammation.
• Your diet includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a regular sleep pattern would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.
